Wednesday - outreach

Laura (she/they) is a Registered Art Therapist and team member of Finding Wellbeing Art Therapy & Counselling. They will be providing Art Therapy home visits in 2024 around inner & outer northern suburbs of Melbourne and surrounds.


Laura strongly values the therapuetic benefits of human connection and embraces creative expression as healing. They have personal connections to disability from within their family experience and this informs their passion for working with the disability community.


During their education, Laura has completed both a degree and fourth year graduate diploma in psychology and a Masters of Art Therapy. They are a Registered Art Therapist with ANZACATA. Their work history includes working in disability support, and as a therapist within schools for students with disability.


In her spare time Laura loves their own creative expressive persuits, getting out and connecting with others, nature, music and playing with her dog Dimmi.


Qualifications held:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

  • Fourth year Graduate Diploma of Psychology

  • Masters of Art Therapy (La Trobe University)

  • Professional Member of ANZACATA
